Mail Tribune sues for records · 16 October 07
Editor Bob Hunter and the Medford Mail Tribune are doing their part to enforce Oregon Public Records Law. A request for a list of concealed weapons permits, which would be granted routinely in many jurisdictions, was not looked on kindly by the local sheriff, so the paper is suing. Paris Achen does a nice job explaining things.
